Sir Edmund Loder's wedding

Hanging around waiting for the wedding procession are this group of the youth of Handcross. Through the arch can be seen the Mission Hall, now known as All Saints Church. The church can still be seen from the same position as the photographer, but the walls are now almost completely obscured by the road which was raised to a higher level when the bridge was built. The white gate just before the church was at the entrance to the lane leading to Slaugham Park.
