Coronation Parade with Handcross Brass Band

PC Steve Message, in his final year as a member of the police force, supervised the progress of the Coronation Parade as it made its way through the streets of Handcross. I suspect the traffic was somewhat lighter than what one experiences today!
Bandmaster, Mr Bill Bosley, with the Handcross Brass and Reed Band supplied the music and the girl in the frilly red, white and blue outfit was probably 14-years-old Margaret Briggs from Truggers carrying her cornet.
Does anyone know who is standing outside 13, Warren Cottages, with perhaps his wife looking out of the bedroom window?

Yes, that is Margaret Briggs, my Mum, holding her cornet!
