British Legion parade at Staplefield

The village of Staplefield played host to a British Legion event which seems to have been a somewhat grander affair than the usual annual Remembrance Day commemoration.
A church service in St Mark’s is followed by a march-past with unknown dignitaries taking the salute, and a social event in the hall.
I can identify three Handcross ex-servicemen, marching behind the standard-bearers in the column nearest to the camera, being, 1st Roger Ray, 2nd Bill Stafford, and 6th Joe Ray.
Frollicking beside the car are Bill Stafford and Roger Ray.
At the end there is a very brief clip of Vic Newnham from the Victory Inn making a speech at the event in the hall.
