Warninglid school 1905

Group 4 boys of Warninglid school seem to be pulling a variety of faces for the camera with most, seemingly, not enjoying the experience.
Obviously, big collars are in fashion and some can even be described as lacy. One has a feeling that today’s schoolboys would be somewhat less than happy to be dressed in that manner!
My uncle, Bert Langley, is in the 2nd row from the top, 2nd from the left.
The three boys sitting behind the sign are from the Favorke family of Lydhurst.

Of the three Favorke boys, my father (George) is on the left, with his two younger brothers.
Next to my father is Fred Favorke, and on the right is Otto Edward Favorke, but know as Ned.
They lived at The Chestnuts.
