Dance in the Parish Hall, Handcross

I have no details of this photograph but it seems to be a dance in the Parish Hall, Handcross and the overhead decorations indicate it was held at Christmas or New Year.
Standing in the front row beneath the central light is my mother, with my father on her right, Nora and Roger Ray.
Around thirty years ago I seem to recall that my father told me that the event was organised by the Tunbridge Wells Equitable Friendly Society who were very active locally providing savings accounts and financial assistance for those unable to work through redundancy or sickness.
The fellow with the bow tie, next but one to my mother, also appears in picture #960 and I suspect he is the organiser. After studying both photographs I conclude that the seated lady second from the right is his wife.
Please can anyone add any names or further details?

A have now found a large photograph of the event with greater clarity and this has been uploaded above.
The Large Version is also much clearer.
Next to my mother is a man with a watch chain and behind his left shoulder is a tall man who, I believe, is Bob Dench.
