Council Cottages, Warninglid

Located beside Cuckfield Lane, Warninglid stands Council Cottages, a group of four substantial semi-detached houses. I lived at number 3 from 1968 to 1992.
On the extreme left of the picture are the distinctive chimneystacks of 1 and 2 Colwood Cottages.
Strolling along the road is Les Morley.
Unfortunately, the publishers of the postcard were not very efficient and re-named the village, Warlinglid!
