The Handcross Players and The Bride and Bachelor

On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October 1961 the Handcross Players production of The Bride and the Batchelor was well received by the audience and newspaper critics alike.
Pictures from the performance can be seen on picture #981.
The newspaper report said that I played the part of the bachelor, an American fiancé, "who captured very well the American drawl". The Mid Sussex reported though my American accent "lacked assurance". I know which one I believed!
